Checking your Proxy Server Settings - Windows 10

If you are unable to register SofTest and receive the "Registration Expired" alert, or if you are unable to download exam files your connection might be blocked by a proxy server. This guide will review how to check and/or modify your proxy servers for your Windows 10 devices. 

  1. Click on the Network Settings button displayed below on your desktop (letter 'A' in the below image)--> Select the Network Settings link (letter 'B' in the below image).

  2. Select the 'Proxy' tab

  3. Make sure the 'Automatically detect settings' toggle switch is set to ON and the 'Proxy Server' and any other switches set to OFF and click on 'Ok'.
