SofTest cannot be used on virtual operating systems such as Microsoft's Virtual Machine, Parallels or VMware, VMware Fusion or any other virtual environments. Please refer to the minimum requirements page link below for more information.

What are the minimum system requirements to run SofTest?

Q: What if I am not using a Virtual Machine?

If you are not using a virtual machine, are you using a surface pro? If so, there is a bug with the motherboard of this machine where it will no longer provide proper machine info to Windows. Windows will try to retrieve machine information and will get null values or garbage values. Due to this reason, SofTest will fail to start. You can try restarting your machine, which may temporarily alleviate the issue, but the bug will eventually come back.
