User Account Control (UAC) on Windows Vista

Please follow the steps below for instructions on how to disable User Account Control (UAC) for Windows Vista.

1. Go to "Control Panel" and set it to "Control Panel Home".

2. Select "User Accounts".

3.  Select "User Accounts" again.

4.  Select "Turn User Account Control on or off".

5.  Uncheck the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help you protect your computer" box and click on "OK".

Note, you will need to restart your machine once these changes are accepted.
