ExamSoft Legacy to Enterprise Migration

Have a better experience, scalability, and compliance with ExamSoft Enterprise

Content Overview

What does the Enterprise portal have to offer?

The Enterprise portal provides a modern, easier to use platform that will support the core functionality of the Legacy portal and offer improved accessibility, scalability for future updates, and clearer compliance to security protocols such as TX-RAMP.

How does the pilot migration program address TX-RAMP authorization?

This pilot program aligns with our plans to bring the Enterprise portal into compliance with the current privacy, security and accessibility requirements for TX-RAMP. Beyond authorization measures, the Enterprise portal improves on the features you are familiar with in Legacy including courses, users, assessments, and questions while launching additional features such Exam Sections.

How can this migration hub help you transition?

This page is your starting point for moving to the Enterprise portal. Here you may find all the information about migration timelines, stages, guidance, FAQs, video tutorials and demos. Keep checking it as we will be continuously updating the page to help you confidently navigate all the migration stages.

What will the migration process be like?

Stage 1. Project kickoff

Prior to meeting with your Migration Consultant, we will provide resources highlighting portal differences and similarities. Your meeting will then cover aligning on timeline and deliverables, establishing cadence for regular project team meetings, and reviewing technical requirements.

Stage 2. Configuration

The Migration Team will configure your new Enterprise portal and support your IT team as they integrate single sign-on (SSO) and your supported LMS, if included in your contract. They will migrate existing Legacy content to the new Enterprise portal, coordinate, configure, and test LMS and SSO integrations (if applicable), provide support for updating Examplify in lab setting (if applicable).

Stage 3. Training & content

You will get access to on-demand training modules explaining how to use the Enterprise portal and work with your Migration Consultant to organize migrated content efficiently.

Stage 4. Optimization

We will share with you best practices that will help you better navigate the Enterprise portal and ensure that project milestones like measuring exam-taker learning over time are completed.

Stage 5. Exam-Taker launch

Preparation includes acquainting exam-takers with the ExamSoft exam-taker portal and the Examplify application.

Stage 6. Migration project completion

The migration project will be complete once a mock exam has been administered from your Enterprise portal.

Is there a timeline for migrating?

We plan to host two pilot windows for migration: Summer 2023 and late fall 2023, both of which will be least disruptive to the academic year. The migration process takes approximately 6-8 weeks, but timelines are determined by both your internal resources as well as the Migration Team.
