Lear how to add a new Content Bank or to edit basic information such as name, ID, and permissions.
Requirements
Only a Bank, Department, or Institution Admin role can add or edit a Content Bank.

Procedures
Adding a Content Bank
- Navigate to the My Content Banks page.
- Navigate to the Content Bank under where you want to create a sub-Bank

To add a new Content Bank, select Create A Content Bank, which is near the top right corner of the page.
OR: To edit the Bank details for an existing Bank, navigate to the Bank and then select the pencil icon. -
Enter the course information.
Tips:- Enter a unique Content Bank ID for the Bank. The Content Bank ID has a limit of 50 characters.
- Provide a descriptive Content Bank Name that will be easily identifiable by exam-makers in your institution. There is no character limit.

There are two ways to select a Content Bank Administrator.
- Start typing the name in the box, and then select from the drop-down list. The selected name will appear above the input box, and you can repeat this process to add additional names.
- Selecting Browse All. Then search or scroll for names. Select the plus (+) for each admin to include, and then select Save, which is in the top right corner.
- Select Save, which is near the top right corner of the page.
Deleting or Archiving a Content Bank
- Select the pencil icon next to the Content Bank you want to delete or archive.
- Review the information to confirm that you have selected the correct Bank that you want to modify.

Use the Archive or Delete button (near the top right corner of the page) to remove the course.
- Archive: The Bank information will be retained in the system, and the Bank can be restored to an active state.
- Delete: All questions and assessments will be permanently removed.
- If there are sub-Banks associated to the Content Bank you are trying to delete or archive, you will need to move those before being allowed to continue.
Unarchive a Content Bank
- Search for the Content Bank by applying the filter to include archived Banks.
- Select the pencil icon for the Content Bank that you want to restore as an active course.
- Review the information to confirm that you have selected the Content Bank that you want to restore.
- Select the Unarchive button (near the top right corner of the page).
Managing a Bank’s Content
- Search for the Content Bank, and then select the Bank name.
- Use the menus at the top of the page, as described below.

Import Queue: Import questions from a file that you created or that you exported from your LMS.

Move Content Banks

Select the individual checkbox next to the Content Bank(s) that you want to move, or select the checkbox in the header row to select all visible Banks.
- At the bottom of the page, select Move.

Begin typing the name of the course or bank where you want to move these questions, and then select an item from the list of suggestions.
- You can also navigate to your Bank by selecting the Browse All option.
- The new page that appears can be used to select either a Course or a Content Bank
- On the Content Banks tab, select a Banks Name to navigate to its Sub-Banks.
- Select the radio button next the Bank or Course you want as a destination.
- When finished, select Save (in the top right corner of the pop-up window).
- To confirm, select Move.
