What does the Enterprise portal have to offer?
The Enterprise portal provides a modern, streamlined platform, while introducing key improvements:
- Improved accessibility
- A more intuitive, efficient user experience
- Scalability to support future enhancements
- Stronger alignment with security and compliance standards (e.g., TX-RAMP)
Who is eligible for migration?
At this time, we are prioritizing migrations for customers with external drivers, such as:
- Accessibility requirements
- Security and compliance standards
- Institutional or regulatory mandates
This approach ensures we are focusing resources where urgency and risk are highest while continuing to scale the program thoughtfully. Most customers are encouraged to wait to migrate until the Enterprise portal is further developed to mirror core functionality of the Legacy portal.
If you are unsure about your eligibility or timing, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
What is required of migrating customers?
To ensure a smooth and successful migration, participating institutions are expected to:
Engage in the migration process
- Attend/watch a kickoff session outlining the migration journey
- Align with the agreed-upon migration timeline
- Complete all required milestones prior to migration
Complete training and preparation
- Complete on-demand training modules prior to using the Enterprise portal
- Facilitate training for team members who will be primary Enterprise portal users
- Prepare and organize Legacy data ahead of migration
Support validation and adoption
- Be available to validate migrated data
- Participate in troubleshooting if needed
- Transition fully to Enterprise following migration
Follow migration guidelines
- Observe the required 3-day blackout period during migration
- No access to either portal during this time
- Continue using existing workflows and integrations during migration preparation
- Avoid introducing new workflows or integrations immediately prior to migration
Plan for Enterprise adoption
- Identify internal administrators or project leads
- Support internal rollout and adoption post-migration
- Note: Enterprise will become your primary system following a successful migration
How will we learn how to use Enterprise?
Customers are supported through a combination of structured onboarding and self-paced online training.
Training includes:
- Approximately 6 hours of on-demand training modules covering:
- Portal Administration
- Question Creation & Management
- Question Importing
- Assessment Building
- Exam Day Preparation
- Scoring Adjustments & Reporting
We recommend identifying a core group of internal “champions” to complete training and support broader faculty adoption.
What support will we receive?
Each customer is assigned a dedicated Onboarding Consultant who will:
- Guide you through the migration process end-to-end
- Configure your Enterprise portal and provide sandbox access
- Facilitate configuration of any integrations currently being used in your Legacy portal
- Support data migration and validation
- Coordinate with internal teams as needed
- Answer migration-related questions
- Help ensure milestones and timelines are met
We recommend assigning an internal project owner to partner closely with your Onboarding Consultant.
