This release contains the following urgent bug fixes:
- Corrected an issue where exam-takers could not type in the short name for an institution and instead were required to type in the full institution name when logging in for the first time.
- Corrected an issue where exam-makers could not preview exams on the iPad.
- Corrected an issue where users would experience a freeze when uploading exams, requiring a manual upload.
In addition, we introduced a change in Examplify 5.4 that leveraged Apple’s enhanced assessment mode to control network traffic without requiring students to manually disable network access before beginning their exams.
Based on your input, we are temporarily rolling back this change and restoring the previous workflow. While we continue to use Apple’s robust built-in security features, this added step provides an extra layer of assurance during testing.
