Password update for posting assessments

To remain aligned with industry best practices for exam integrity, we are updating the way exam passwords are created. Currently, exam-makers manually create passwords when posting assessments. The default will change so that the portal will automatically generate passwords containing 12 random alphanumeric characters.

Exam-makers will still have the option to manually create passwords instead. Manually-created passwords will be required to contain at least 12 characters and include at least one number and one letter. These changes will go live in March for new assessment postings and will not impact existing assessment postings.
