Microsoft and Apple Operating System Updates and Examplify Compatibility
Examplify has been certified compatible with Apple's new operating system macOS Sequoia and iPad OS 18 -- see our Minimum System Requirements for more details. Exam-takers can now update to macOS Sequoia.
With the release of macOS 15 Sequoia, Apple will no longer be supporting macOS 12 Monterey. Reflecting this change, Examplify will no longer support macOS 12 Monterey, effective November 5th 2024.
Microsoft has announced its new operating system Windows 11 24H2, but not the official release date. ExamSoft is currently testing Examplify’s compatibility with Windows 11 24H2. Certifying Examplify’s compatibility can only be completed after the final version of Windows 11 24H2 has been released because Microsoft may make key changes right up until release.
Exam-takers should not update their devices to Windows 11 24H2 until we announce Examplify’s compatibility with the new version. This includes beta versions of Windows 11 24H2 that may be available to exam-takers prior to the official release date.
Action Required
- Share this update with relevant stakeholders.
- Please advise exam-takers not to update their devices to Windows 11 24H2 or any beta versions in order to ensure they are able to test without issue.
- Consider sharing with exam-takers the How to Disable Automatic Operating System Updates article about how to disable automatic operating system updates.
We will follow up with you in the coming weeks with additional updates. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager with any questions.
