Enterprise Portal: Archiving questions from your Question Bank

This guide is designed for instructors or administrators who manage question banks and wish to keep their active courses organized and up-to-date.

Create an archived question bank course

To begin, you'll need to set up a dedicated course to store archived questions.

  1. Navigate to your course creation page.
  2. Create a new course titled clearly (e.g., "Archived Question Bank").
  3. Save your new course.

Creating a specific archived question bank helps maintain a clean, manageable collection of active course questions.

Move questions in bulk

After creating your archive course, follow these steps to transfer multiple questions efficiently.

  1. Go to your existing Question Bank within the courses you wish to archive questions from.
  2. Adjust the number of questions displayed per page to select more questions simultaneously.
  3. Select the Select All checkbox to choose every question shown on the page.
  4. Select Move and choose the archived question bank course from the dropdown list.

Questions will now appear in your archived course, decluttering your active courses and streamlining question management.
