Exam Passwords
Exam passwords are created and managed by your institution. If you do not know your exam password, contact the person at your institution in charge of the exam.
Typically, exam passwords may be shared by someone at the institution via an LMS post (such as a Canvas post or in Blackboard), via email, or in the classroom when it's time to take the exam.

Here are a few things to check:
-
Passwords are case-sensitive
Make sure that Caps Lock is off and you’re entering the password exactly as given, including uppercase and lowercase letters. Select the Show button above the exam password text box to see the password you entered.
-
Verify the correct exam is selected
Sometimes exams have similar names. Double-check that you've chosen the right one before entering the password. If you're unsure:- Under the Downloaded section in Examplify, select the exam you think is correct.
- Then, look in the Exam Details section for the Posting ID#.
- Share this ID# with your instructor to confirm you're selecting the correct exam.
If you didn't received your exam password when you downloaded your exam, this may be intentional as passwords are not always shared at the same time the exam is available for download.
If you’re unsure when you will receive your exam password, contact the person at your institution in charge of the exam to confirm if you should have received it, and where to locate it.
Review Passwords
Review passwords are created and managed by your institution. If you do not know your review password, contact the person at your institution in charge of the exam and review.

-
Immediate Review
This review happens right after the exam is completed.-
Exam takers only need to enter the review password to begin the review.
-
Exam takers only need to enter the review password to begin the review.
-
Delayed Review
This review takes place at a later time.- Exam takers must first enter the original exam password.
- Then, they will be prompted to enter the delayed review password to access the review.
If you're having trouble with your delayed review password, it's likely due to one of two things:
- Case Sensitivity: Passwords are case-sensitive, meaning uppercase and lowercase letters matter. Make sure your Caps Lock is off and you're typing the password exactly as it was provided.
- Order of Passwords: For delayed reviews, you first need to enter the original exam password before you can enter the delayed review password. Make sure you've entered the exam password first.
-
Understand the Attempt Limit
- Examplify allows only 3 attempts to enter the review password (for both immediate and delayed reviews).
-
After the 3rd incorrect attempt, you will be locked out of the review in Examplify.
-
If You’re Locked Out
- Examplify does not allow additional attempts once you've been locked out.
- Contact your instructor or exam administrator for further assistance. They may be able to provide you alternative options to participate in the review, such as a paper copy of the review.
