This article describes the permissions for various Content Bank admin users.

Types of Admin Users
There are six types of admin users:
- Institution Admins have the highest level of user permissions.
- Department Admins have permissions to manage departments and courses. They are automatically assigned to all courses for their assigned departments.
- Course Admins have permissions for courses and assessments. They are automatically assigned to all assessments for their assigned courses.
- Assessment Admins have permissions for assessments. They are automatically assigned to all postings for their assigned assessments.
- Content Bank Admins have permissions for Banks and assessments. They are automatically assigned to all assessments for their assigned Banks.
- Restricted Bank Users have view-only permissions to a Bank’s questions and assessments. They are allowed to post assessments that they can view.
