You can customize the Exam-Taker Results Report to include a variety of information about exam-takers, questions, responses, scores, and categories. You can view the data on the screen or download it in various formats.
From the same screen, you also can view histograms of the results and export the grades to a file that you can import into your LMS.
Procedures
View the Report
- Select the Assessments menu.
- Select an assessment that has been posted and that exam-takers have begun completing and uploading.
- Select the Reporting/Scoring tab.
- Select Exam-Taker Results.
- Select the options that you want to include in the report.
- Select View Report.
The report appears in the lower part of the screen. You can export this data as a CSV or Excel file by using the icons in the top right corner of the report.
Notes:
- For Hot Spot questions, the correct responses are marked with the phrase in area, and incorrect responses are marked without of area. This message also includes the coordinates of the location where the exam-taker placed the "pin" during the exam.
- For Essay questions, a portion of the essay will be displayed. To read the full response, select the book icon.
- If you want to export one or more exam-takers' reports to a PDF, select the checkbox for the exam-taker(s), and then select the Export to PDF button (in the lower left corner of the screen). In the pop-up window, select the options to include, and then select Run Report.
View Histograms
- Select the Assessments menu.
- Select an assessment that has been posted and that exam-takers have begun completing and uploading.
- Select the Reporting/Scoring tab.
- Select Exam-Taker Results.
- Select the Histograms button.
The first histogram to appear is the Assessment Scores, showing each exam-taker's score.
- To view other histograms: Use the drop-down list (near the top of the pop-up window) to make a selection.
- When finished viewing histograms: Select the Close button.
Export Grades
- Select the Assessments menu.
- Select an assessment that has been posted and that exam-takers have begun completing and uploading.
- Select the Reporting/Scoring tab.
- Select Exam-Taker Results.
- Select the Grade Export button.
- In the pop-up window, enter the Column Name, which should match the name of the grade-book in your LMS.
- Select the Export Type, and then select Export.
