CJE content is loaded within your ExamSoft portal and available to include on assessments. The following guide will provide instruction and guidance to locate the content, manage filters when searching for specific content, and how to add the content to assessments.

CJE: Question Bank Organization
The purpose of the CJE Banks is to serve as your persistent storage for CJE content.
Your live courses (the ones that have students enrolled) will most likely expire every year and be removed and replaced by the next semester's courses. The CJE Bank allows us to easily access previously used content.
CJE Content is organized across Core and Comprehensive focus areas. Each item has a unique title that indicates the focus area and key contempt (example: PATHO Diabetes Type 1). Below outlines the focus areas included in each bank.
Please do not ‘move’ questions out of the Question Bank Courses. These questions must remain in the banks to appropriately add and access these questions.

Adding ‘CJE: Question Bank’ items to an assessment
Use the following procedure to add CJE: Question Bank items to draft assessments. For creating a draft assessment, please reference this guide 'Get Started Creating an Assessment'. (Don’t choose blueprint).
- Select the green plus button (on the left side of the page).
- Select Find Questions.
- Select the Filter option next to the search bar above the table.
Using the search filters
Filters are necessary to pull the desired CJE: Question Bank items into draft assessments.
Use the following search fields/criteria to generate a list of CJE: Question Bank assessments that meet the following criteria.
- Any of these categories: NurseThink Testing 2024 > Exemplar > [choose applicable exemplars]
- Select Browse All and choose NurseThink Testing 2024
- Click Exemplar-Disease
- Search for the desired exemplar-disease in the list. Use the check icon to add desired exemplar-disease to ensure what’s selected is included in the search.

Not used on an assessment: custom date range:
- 1/1/2023 - present day

Course: CJE: RN Comprehensive Question Bank and/or CJE: RN Comprehensive Question Bank
- Type to search by entering: CJE: Question Bank
- Once the filters are completed using the above search criteria, select the green button Apply Filters.
- The list of questions will populate with all questions that meet the criteria specified by the filters.
- Use the check icon to select items. When items are selected, click save.
Note: It does take a minute to result, so don’t refresh or start over unless it has been 2 full minutes.
Reminders:
- Any questions that can be partial credit should be checked, if +/- partial credit is an option, choose that one.
