Examplify: Application Service Unavailable (Windows)

If you are receiving an error that says Application’s Services are Unavailable or the Application’s Service is not connected on your Windows device, follow the steps below to fix the error.  

 

Procedure

  • Step 1: Close the Examplify Application. Then right-click the Examplify shortcut and select Run as an Administrator. Examplify should launch successfully.
  • Step 2: To start the service manually, press the Windows key and enter services.msc to open the services manager. Double-click Examplify Service. Make sure that it is set to Automatic/Started.
  • Step 3: Antivirus configurations can occasionally cause issues when installing Examplify or starting a secure exam. If problems arise, users can attempt to temporarily disable their antivirus software and repeat the process they are attempting. This step is advisory and should be performed at the user’s discretion. Guidance and best practices can be found via our online help guide.
  • Step 4: If the issue persists, after attempting the steps above, proceed with restarting the device. A hard reboot may also be required, if restarting the device does not resolve the error.
  • Step 5: If the issue remains, the Examplify application should be uninstalled, allowing for a new instance to be reinstalled. Steps to complete this process can be found in our online help guide.
