Tips

  • Below the question stem, you will complete the diagram (bowtie layout) to determine the most likely condition that the client in the scenario is experiencing (potential condition), the appropriate actions to take, and the parameters to monitor.


    • In the first column, you must select two answers from the column. In this example, the column is "Action to Take."
      • Selecting your choice, automatically places it into the diagram. 
      • Deselecting the choice, removes it from the diagram.
    • In the second column, you must select one answer from the column. In this example, the column is "Potential Condition"
        • Selecting your choice, automatically places it into the diagram.
        • Deselecting the choice, removes it from the diagram.
    • In the third column, you must select two answers from the column. In this example, the column is "Parameter to Monitor."
          • Selecting your choice, automatically places it into the diagram. 
          • Deselecting the choice, removes it from the diagram.
      • Guessing is discouraged because the exam-maker can set up the exam to apply penalties for incorrect answer choices.
