How the Upload Process Works
Once your exam time expires or you choose to exit, Examplify instantly secures, locks, and encrypts your answers.
- The application will immediately attempt to reconnect to the internet.
- It will automatically begin uploading your answer file. If your exam used ExamMonitor, it will also begin uploading your proctoring video.
- You must keep Examplify open and active on your screen until you see the green "Successful Upload" confirmation screen.
What to Do If You Don't Have Wi-Fi Right Away
An active internet connection is strictly required to send your files to ExamSoft, but you do not need to panic if your internet drops at the end of a test.
- If you are offline, Examplify will display a "Pending Upload" status dashboard. Your files are completely safe, encrypted, and preserved.
- Find a reliable Wi-Fi network or connect to a mobile hotspot as soon as possible. As soon as your computer reconnects to the internet, open Examplify and leave it running. The app will immediately detect the connection and automatically push the upload through.
A Critical Note on Deadlines
Every institution handles testing windows differently. Many schools enforce strict lockouts for answer submissions.
Always check with your instructor or your campus testing coordinator to verify your specific upload deadline. If your files are not completely uploaded before this institutional window closes, you may be locked out. ExamSoft Support cannot bypass, alter, or extend these deadlines for you.
