Logging in to Examplify only to find your exam is missing can be stressful, but there is usually a straightforward reason why. This guide will help you answer the following questions:

1. Refresh Your Exam List
Click the Refresh Exam List button in the dashboard. This forces Examplify to pull the latest information from your institution.
2. Check Dashboard Statuses
Examplify features dashboard sections to organize your assessments. If an exam is missing from the "Ready for Download" section, check these categories:
- Upcoming: If your exam is listed here, the download window has not opened yet. Check the date and time listed under the exam name to see when it will become available.
- Expired: If your exam is here, the designated window to download the exam has closed. ExamSoft Support cannot grant access to the exam. You will need to contact your institution for next steps.
3. Check Your Device
Did you download the exam on a different computer? Exam downloads lock to a single device. Once downloaded, an exam can only be accessed on that exact computer unless you remove the download from the original device or your instructor grants you an additional download.
4. Clear Registration
If you are on the correct device and the exam is still missing, try clearing your registration (Note: This process will log you out of Examplify, so be sure you have your login credentials ready:
- Go to the Home Menu > Clear Registration.
- Relaunch Examplify.
- Log back in and check your list of exams.
5. Contact Institution
If you are on the correct device and the exam is still missing, contact an instructor or exam administrator to ensure you've been enrolled into the correct ExamSoft course, verify the exam download window, or see if the exam has been posted yet.
If the exam hasn't been posted by the exam administrator yet, you won't see this in your upcoming exams or in your exam history.
