Steps to Take

1. Activate Your Account and Find Your Portal
Before you can log into the software, your account must be created by your institution and then activated.

Look for an official account activation email from noreply@examsoft.com. Click the secure link inside the email to establish your login password.

Go to the main ExamSoft login portal. Start typing your official School Name or Institution ID into the search bar until your institution appears in the dropdown list, then select it.

Returning user, or didn’t get the email? You might already have an account and simply need to reset your password once you get to the login page for your institution.

Once logged into your institution's ExamSoft web portal, look for any outstanding alerts. Some institutions require you to complete a software payment registration before allowing downloads.
2. Check Requirements and Install
Once your account is ready, you need to install Examplify onto the physical device you will use on test day.
Before installing, ensure your laptop or tablet meets the minimum system requirements. You may experience issues running outdated operating systems during a test. You can check the latest technical requirements anytime on the Examplify Minimum System Requirements page.
For Laptops and Desktops (Windows & Mac):
- Log into your school's ExamSoft web portal page.
- Click the Download Examplify button.
- Select your appropriate operating system version (Windows or macOS) to download the standard installation file.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the standard on-screen setup prompts to install the program.
For iPads:
- Do not look for a download link in your web browser. Instead, grab your iPad and go directly to the Apple App Store.
- Search for Examplify and download the official app directly to your tablet.
3. Log In and Download Your First Exam
Now that the software is installed, you can download your actual exam files.
- Open the Examplify app on your desktop or iPad home screen.
- Search for your school name again and log in using the custom password you set up during Step 1.
- Look at your left-hand side menu dashboard under the "Ready for Download" section.
- If your instructor has opened the testing window, your exam will be listed. Simply click the exam name and select the blue Download Exam button.
